Satellite Data Acquisition in the Blink of an Eye

Blink is a real-time, high data rate software-based modem specifically designed to run on, and with, commercial off-the-shelf equipment. It utilizes the processing power of today's top-of-the-line CPUs and GPUs and radically reduces costs, improves re-usability and flexibility and speeds up the ground station evolution.

Blink moved digital signal processing from high-maintenance hardware to software and can run on bare-metal or virtual environments (local and cloud).

It can bring previously impossible missions to life and make other missions easier to manage, more productive and significantly cheaper to set up and evolve.

Blink is a CCSDS and DVB-S2- compatible software-based satellite data acquisition system.

Its modular architecture supports a variety of delivery options tailored to your environment and requirements; in addition to three main packages below.

Multi-mission software package for ultra-fast RF signal and CCSDS and DVB-2 front-end processing and analysis that includes:

  • growing selection of supported modcods
  • test modulator including noise generators
  • state-of-the-art processing reports with 30+ types of events and interactive timeline
  • FEP command-line tool for data reception troubleshooting during all phases of the mission life cycle; including ad hoc, extremely fast header analysis, data extraction, conversion and report generation

Blink Software can be integrated with COTS RF digitizers or SDRs to provide a modern, flexible and cost-effective modem and front-end processor.

    Blink DEVICE

Blink Software integrated with our new high data rate SDR provides a standalone satellite telemetry and payload processor and analyzer as a part of your ground data acquisition station.
